Increasing and advancing the healthcare workforce in Northwest Wisconsin through quality, accessible certifications and trainings.
Why choose the Institute?
- Online, live learning. We are continually working to add online, live learning options to increase access to our classes. Current options include medication aide, CBRF (assisted living), and dementia education.
- Price. Shop around. You will find our class rates are competitive, plus we can help connect you with tuition assistance and reimbursement options.
- Finish faster. We schedule classes with utmost efficiency so you can start working and achieving your goals as quickly as possible.
- Choose where you want to work. The Institute is focused on providing you with quality education. Where you work is up to you.
- Multiple locations. Nurse educators instruct classes year-round in multiple communities, including Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Frederic, Osseo, and Rice Lake. We may be able to offer classes in other communities as well — Amery, Augusta, Barron, Black River Falls, Bloomer, Chetek, Cumberland, Durand, Hayward, Ladysmith, Menomonie, Mondovi, Neillsville, Turtle Lake, Spooner, Superior, and Whitehall to name a few. Receive updates.
- Experienced educators. Most of our instructors are registered nurses and have spent years providing direct patient care. Our instructors are passionate about ensuring healthcare consumers receive quality care by compassionate professionals.
- Evolving class options. We are committed to growing our list of class offerings in order to help advance the healthcare workforce. We want to hear from you. Send us your class ideas.
Be a part of the solution for the healthcare workforce.
The Healthcare Workforce Training Institute is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. In order for the Institute to advance its mission, it is imperative to hire more instructors and expand class offerings. Furthermore, class fees are sometimes a deterrent for those wishing to take a class. Your financial donation will make a lasting impact in the lives of so many - our students and those in need of their care.
